Hi
Sorry I have not visited the forum for a while but I finally qualified in September in the U.K. I have also submitted all the relevent documentation to the Nursing Board of South Australia and have a telephone interview organised with staff in Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide. Although I am nervous about the interview, what concernes me most is the time scale given to complete my registration (5th May). Is this normal or does anyone know if it is normally completed quicker than the time given

sorry cannot answer your question on time taken. i'm guessing, once the board has all your paperwork and have checked into it, they'll go ahead and process your application to register. i'm sure flinders medical centre would be able to assist you also with further information. just ask, don't be afraid. the only stupid question is an unasked one! good luck! you'll love adelaide!
Thanks for the advise. I emailed the NBSA last wekk and they hadn't received verification of my UK registration yet but according to the NMC they should get it this week:nurse: Hopefully it won't take too long after that.
