Career Change- Need Advise

Hello,

I currently have a Masters in Counseling and I'm looking to do a complete career change and become an RN. I work with a health insurance company now and cannot afford to quit my job or reduce my hours. I work 8-430 so I am not able to attend school during the day. Does anyone know of a school that does nights and weekend classes for nursing to become an RN? I dont care how long it takes. Thank you!

We need more information.... Where are you located??

There are very few night RN courses out there. You may be able to find a part time LPN program that goes nights but that is about it. It's because of the way clinicals work. But you could google nursing schools in your area and see what they have to offer.

I live in New port richey but willing to go anywhere as far as Tampa or plant city if needed

Several of the community colleges in my state offer a part-time ADN program on nights/weekends. This program was designed originally to take working Patient Care assistants and CNAs through RN preparation, but other working adults can enroll in these programs as well. The program is 3 years long in the nursing program (plus 1-2 years of prereqs as a part-time student). Classes meet 2 evenings per week (6-9pm) and there is an 8 hour clinical on either Saturdays or Sundays.
