Suggest that you read the stickies on IENs wanting to work here. And do a forum search on this topic. There are 1000s of posts on this subject.

Canada is a large country. Where exactly is your girlfriend's family moving? Your credentials will need to be assessed by the College of Nursing in that province before you will be deemed eligible for registration, and the Canadian Immigration Commission will determine whether you're eligible for entry into the country. There are not many nursing vacancies anywhere these days for people with little experience (less than 2-5 years) or without specialty training (ICU/telemetry/obstetrics/mental health for example).

There are several threads that discuss the process for Canada but a lot will depend on the province you plan on living and working in, meeting both provincial and immigration requirements. Look at a process of over 12 months up to 3 years depending on the route you take

CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada) website is a good place to start as is the provincial college of RN's

thanks for the response :)

but actually just wanted to be with her... any jobs will do for me when i get there. her father have worked there for about 3years. he sponsored his whole family for immigration. can my girlfriend sponsor me also? in what process so that i can be with her in fastest way? edmonton, alberta is their homeland... tnx

To the best of my knowledge she can't sponsor you unless she has activated PR and you have lived together as common in law or marriage and it takes time to process and you can work. Suggest you check out the CIC website
