I am looking for any type of refresher course for LPN's. I have been out of nursing for 10 years, have been working as a Corrections Officer for those 10 years and for 17 years before that I worked as an LPN in a state mental hospital. I am thinking of soon retiring from Corrections & would like to do some nursing part-time. I would like to find some type of refresher course, possibly on-line, to tackle. Any suggestions or locations would help alot.
By the way - would like to say HI as this is my first post.:)

The Community College of Beaver County has a refresher course for LPN's and RN's. I just saw it in their non credit course catalog today. Their website is: http://www.ccbc.edu.
Good luck.

CCAC (Allegheny county) has one too. I know Pitt has one for RNs, but they wanted like 1,200 or so for it!
