That's correct - recruiters are always paid by the company that is doing the hiring. Do NOT EVER pay anyone who says they can get you a job.... it's a scam.
No one uses recruiters to find staff nurses in my part of the country - even when the economy was better. They are only used for specialty and Mgr/Exec roles.
Hi,I'm a new RN who just passed the board last month. What's the difference between going under a recruiter and having them look for a job for you vs getting hired directly by the hospital? If the recruiter finds a job for you, does that mean they get a certain percentage from your salary?
they usually have a contracted "finders fee" from the employer...... I would go straight hire if the $s and everything else is "right"
