Recommended Online School for BSN to DNP programs

I am currently about to begin my 3rd semester of the BSN to DNP program at Loyola University New Orleans. It is a 3 yr program and we do have to go to the campus 1 week every year for skills/testing. So far it is stressful but ok. The instructors have been good about working with students. There have been a few kinks along the way but that will be anywhere you go.

I'm currently in the acute care with cardiovascular track at University of South Alabama. I have seen a lot of pro and con reviews on the school, but I personally enjoy the program (for the most part, it IS after all schooling you know!). This is a school where you have to find your own preceptors, so that can be overwhleming for certain people depending on location. However, the graduation rate/exam passing rate for the acute care program was good (not sure on number, sorry), and the tuition rates were great. They allow you to do a part-time or full-time curriculum, as well as specialize in areas like cardiology, education, oncology.

Ultimately you need to do a lot of searching around and researching various schools to find what fits for you and your lifestyle. Good luck!

I'm currently at Washington State University and I have to sit in class to watch my instructors stream from another site. I'm paying $16k/semester and I've just started my second semester. I'm seriously considering switching to an online program since the quality of my instruction is pretty sub-par.

I'm curious about the 3 P's - ours are being taught with powerpoints and an instructor that spends 3 hours per week talking about her experiences in clinic. Then we're left to completely teach ourselves patho, pharm, and phys assessment.

Can anyone give an idea of how those 3 classes are taught in some of these online programs? IMO, those are classes in which powerpoints should be banned.
