I'm a first semester nursing student and knowing that jobs for new grads are COMPETITIVE, am getting a headstart. For recommendations, could it be from a nurse that I've worked with on the floor during my rotation, or should it be a clinical instructor from school instead?
I would say clinical instructor. By the time you graduate, they will be able to speak more on your character and personality rather than a nurse you worked with. Also, most facilities require recommendations from at least 1-2 instructors.
