Recent graduate of a CNA course looking for work

Nursing Students CNA/MA

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a bit of advice. I just graduated from a CNA course about a month ago in NY. I took my license test and failed the clinical(i passed everything but indirect care and bed bath), but passed the written part -- but this doesn't really matter. I'm looking to find work in the health care field, as I figure it would be great experience, and will help me pass my test the next time. I found an agency that certified me as a PCA, but it's per diem, and hasn't called me yet(this was a week ago). Other places are telling me they're slow, or don't like my availability(my other job revolves around working weekends -- and I need it to survive). The thing is, I really have no problem with quitting my job, but I can't find any type of work that would be able to supplement that income. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a particular type of job I could apply for that I can earn a decent wage, and gain experience?
