I know for both my LPN and RN, I had to send in my application to my State BON as well as sign up with PearsonVue. The schools had to send the paperwork into the State. The State BON issues the ok to PearsonVue and PeasonVue sent me my ATT.
I had done all that and the time frame we were given for when we should receive our ATT by came and went. I called my BON and found out that for whatever reason my classes applications were awaiting our schools paperwork...and in another area our school paperwork was awaiting our BON application. Thankfully I called or they would have been sitting there.
I sent all my LPN applications in prior to graduation about a week or two and then the school sent in our stuff. I graduated in early June (possibly the 2nd week) and I had tested and passed my NCLEX-PN the 2nd week of July. For my NCLEX-RN I graduated mid-May and tested 2nd week of June
Have you done all that? Have fellow classmates gotten their ATTs?
Have you registered on Professional Credential Services, Inc. website? There you can see if BON had received your papers, you can email them, ask questions, etc.
Mine took 2 days. My school had us fill out our applications a month before we graduated then we went as a class to fingerprint. Then once the school knew we were graduating and had our ATI green light they gave us the check for the BON and a sealed copy of our transcript to hand deliver with our application to the BON plus a voucher to register with PearsonVue. I did it all July 12 and had my ATT July 14th and tested August 2nd (and just got the PASS via quick result today) so it should be a very fast process. Never let a 3rd party do for you (sending transcripts) what you can do yourself.
Hi Jessc16,
If you are from Ohio, they shut down licensing (that includes ATT and actual licenses) for about a month in June/July due to a switch from paper records to electronic. You must have gotten stuck in the mix of that. I am an out of state student that applied to Ohio's board in June right before the cutoff. I got stuck in that rut but was able to call them and get it pushed through because I technically made the June 17th deadline.
I have since passed the NCLEX as of this week and I just posted my own post in this forum in case you want more details!
GOOD LUCK, YOU CAN DO IT!

Thanks guys for all the responses! Yes, I am from Ohio so I'm stuck waiting because of the mess they created. My fellowship starts Sept 12th, so I am just praying I'll be able to take it in the next couple weeks. I think it's beyond unprofessional that this happened, they should have had a better system in place to deal with this while implementing a new system. On the news they interviewed a nurse that transferred his license from out of state to Ohio and he said he's still waiting for the board to accept it? Not sure, but he's had to take a pizza delivery job because he can't work!

Hey!
I graduated an ADN program on June 25 2016 and I'm still waiting to get the ok that I can call and schedule my NCLEX test date. I am so anxious and annoyed to have to wait this long. In school, they really push you to take it as soon as possible. So I'm wondering how long did you have to wait from graduation to you being able to schedule? I know I'm being a little impatient, but I also have a wonderful fellowship waiting on me and I really want to get started. Thank you!
