Published

I just register yesterday at Pearson vue coz the OR license technician told me to register for me yo be able to have an Eligibility to take the test, and then today i recieved my ATT and will expires on MAY 22. i was so shock and didnt expect this coz ill be delivering my baby on MAY 8. what if i just let my ATT expire? do i still need to apply and repeat all the necessary documents in BON To be able to have an eligibility again and register to Pearson Vue? I am very confused :(

You will need to pay Pearson Vue again if you don't test before May 22. It's typical that ATT is valid only 90 days in most states

You need to check with BoN as some states charge to do a new ATT approval. Most states require a new background check if you wait more than 6months/180 days

i emailed the License technician, this is her reply;

If you cannot test within the 90 days of getting your ATT (by May 22) you may re register with Person View and pay their fee and become eligible to test again.

You will not have to re apply all the necessary documents unless you wait until after 8-29-2016, when your application expires.

does this mean that i can register anytime at Pearson Vue until 8-29-2016 and still be eligible? my Application is valid until 2016? i am very confused thank you so much!

You would have to register at least 90'days before your application expires. Every time you register with Pearson Vue you have to pay the $200 test fee. So if you let this first ATT expire you lose the $200. Once you register again with PV you will be issued a new ATT valid to test within 90 days.

i see.. thank you so much.. the license technician told me that she can make my eligibility pending until im decided to take the exam ill just have to inform her and make me eligible.. but the question is the PV already released my ATT which valid untill May 22,2014 and they said that it cannot be extend or refund in any reason.. so i dont know.. im really confused? :/

Your current ATT/registration with Pearson Vue expires May 22,2014. It is never able to be extended in any state. If you don't schedule or take the test before 5/22/14 you forfeit your $200 registration fee. When you are ready for a new ATT (which will be valid to test within a 90 day period) you have to re-register at Pearson and pay another $200.

BoN eligibility and ATT validity are 2 separate issues.

Thank you so much! i just emailed the license technician on how is it gonna affect my current ATT if she will change my Eligibility to "Awaiting Eligibility" coz thats whats she told me if im not yet ready to take the exam but i did paid for PV already. im still confused. i just started studying today and my baby is kicking a lot haha i might as well take the exam right after i gave birth without expecting anything lol i just realize maybe God has reason and i dont want my $200 be wasted.

If you do not want to lose $200 buckle down & study and set a test date before May 22. If you fail to schedule/test by 5/22 you are guaranteed to lose $200 and not earn your RN license in I OR before May. If you schedule & take the NCLEX soon you have a chance to earn your license. You have nothing to lose but time and $200.

Hi the license techician and ask to changed my Eligibility to "awaiting eligibility" and upon checking my pearson vue account theres no schedule tab already and my eligibility changed to "awaiting eligibility" so does this mean that may ATT that was released has been disregard already? thank you so much :) i'm still confused :(
