Reality is finally setting in!!!

With one week to the day to start school, its finally hitting me that I am about to be a nursing student! :DWhoever thought this day would come..finally I am taking classes in my major woohoo!! Seeing everyone post about their first day has got me going crazy..I am ready for my first day already:bugeyes: Today I went and bought all my books for class, my credit card is :crying2:...lol. Me and my boyfriend walked out of there carrying 18 books and they weren't small ones mind u...lol. Now all I have to get is my nurse supply kit and uniform and I am raring to go..there was a $35 book on my list that had no name so I asked a worker and he goes "oh that's the syllabus" :eek:WHAT?!?!? I GOTTA PAY $35 FOR A SYLLABUS???? It's looks like one of our textbooks!!! I am still in shock and my nerves are getting to me now...oh how I want the week to go slow and hurry up all at the same time..I must be nuts. Has reality set in yet for those who haven't started or will it not hit you until you are in your seat at 7:25am (class doesnt start til 8am...lol) on the first day?! My nerves usually dont get to me until the day of but this is not your everyday situation.

Our Syllabus was 100 pages just for one quarter so its probably alot of printing and if your going to a state school or community college then they probably have to charge you.

I have one week to go too and I'm freaking out more and more everyday. I have a few online classes also so I logged in lastnight and saw my online classes listed, so I was clicking through the A&P class...lets just say that I am scared to death of that class lol and Medical Term. But I just keep reminding myself that millions of others have made it through this so I can too!! (fingers crossed!) :D:nurse:

I honestly don't think it'll hit me until I'm sitting in class in my uniform, hahaha. It kind of felt nice though as I read my summer reading out of our nursing fundamentals book.
