Read or Questions?

Should I read through the Saunders book and take notes on things that look important and things I didn't know for review.. Or should I just focus on doing a ton of questions and reading all the rationals? I Just bought a new LaCharity book, mine was all marked up from school. Should I do saunders questions or is there something better like nclex 4000.. I took the Nclex today and didn't pass after 75 questions so I clearly need work, I also only got 4 hours of sleep even though I was in bed trying for at least 8 all night. So what do you think works best? Reading the review book cover to cover taking notes, or just doing a ton of questions 150-200 day, reviewing the rationals right or wrong, and doing extra review on the ones you get wrong.

@YDRUSSELL i sent you a lengthy pm did you get it? It says it didnt send because i havent posted enough or something.

i feel by doing content as reading the saunders book, i get so bored and over whelmed with the amount of content, so I'm trying to do questions mostly, NCSBN and 3500 & 4000 questions.

OMG, I have been reading all the post regarding the NCLEX exam, I am so afraid NOW. I will be taking my test in 14 days and I feel like I am not even close to being ready, debating about rescheduling test!!! Up to now, I have done over 850 Questions and read all rationales on the saunders Comprehensive book, will continue to do 250 a day until test day. I also have access to kaplan, I have done the qbank questions so many times that I have the answers memorized, NOT A GOOD THING! I also have the prioritization delegation, and assignment book from LaCharity, doing just the first 18 chapters of questions, not the case studies.

I would really appreciate feed back, I feel so much anxiety!!!!!!

do you recommend reading the kaplan course book first and then do the questions afterwards? or do a little bit of both?

needless to say, you have another chance to redeem yourself; you see now you have a better idea of what to expect on your next try. therefore, use it wisely, i have no doubt that you can do this, wishing you the best in all of your future endeavors~
