Hi im mike a newly graduate nurse from the phil. Im planning to take up nclex maybe later this year. Is there an expiration for the license? Like for example if you cant work there after taking the test for 2 years.

Hello and welcome to the site.
Most licenses have an expiration but you can sort it out once you finally arrive in the US and get SSN as most require SSN for renewal. Check out the sticky near the top of this forum called Primer to working in the US plus plenty of reading on here especially if you use the search option
Good luck

You will be applying for licensure in the US as an RN. You cannot just apply to take the NCLEX exam, it is a part of the licensure process and requires approval to even be able to sit for it.
All licenses in the US have an expiration date. But you are going to find that most will not even issue you an actual license until you are in the US and have completed the immigration process and are ready to work.
As suggested above, please take the time to do some reading of the stickies at the top of this forum.
And WELCOME..............
