3rd times a charm... hopefully

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

So I just took my NCLEX for the 2nd time today. 6 hours and 265 questions later and I was taken to the credit card page. So dissapointed and frustrated. My first exam was also 6 hours and 265 questions. I don't know what I need to do to pass this beast. For the first exam I took a review class in our area that everyone swears by. It was 8 lectures (4 hours each) and then questions each evening. The second exam I used Saunders, Exam Cram and the RN Mastery App on my phone. I really felt prepared. All of the questions that I did at home daily (And I swear it was thousands) I did really well on.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to continue studying. The review course I took said to stay away from Kaplan, but I have seen so many people have luck with it. I'm considering Hurst... but not sure what people thing. I've already paid $450 for my first review course and then $275 x2 for my exams. I don't want to waste anymore money!

Any advice is more than welcome. I'm totally feeling down in the dumps.

anyone have any suggestions?

I feel your pain. I failed twice as well. I think this time I'm gonna go with hurst and saunders and maybe the learning text for questions. But don't give up yet, the pvt has been known to give false negatives

Don't give up keep the fire burning .somebody fail 6 times and pass on the 7th so is still hope !!!
