RCC School of Nursing Spring 2021

Published

Hi, everyone!

Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Spring 2021!

I will be submitting my application soon, just starting this for any other applicants to share stats and experience!

They better let us know soon because we’re just gonna keep bugging them LOL also @Erika Salazar only admitted students find out right? denied CEP and traditional find out later?

Honestly same I’m gonna keep annoying bc some of us depend on this decision LOL like I’d have to move 7 hours if I get in haha and yes only admitted students find out for CEP because they want to give it a chance in case they don’t get in for CEP but do for traditional just so no one loses hope. So if you don’t hear back for CEP it’s totally okay because you still have a chance at traditional! Best of luck!

Hello all!! I applied for the CEP and traditional ADN program for Spring 2021. I haven't heard anything back and getting very antsy. I am thinking of applying this cycle, just in case I do not get in. Would anyone happen to know if we have to resubmit our transcripts to RCC for the Fall 2021 cohort? Wish you all the best!

I’m not sure about that. You could call and ask them.

I heard from A that the average of the cut off was lower compared to the last cohort so I hope I make it in LOL. I have 77 points total I believe! They really are taking their time making us all nervous for this.

74 but if I retake 2 classes I got a B in and get an A I can raise my gen ED GPA to 3.5 and get 76 pts... if I don't get in this application, I will retake those classes.

That's how the GEN ED GPA works, correct? They accumulate your GPA from those 14 pre-nursing courses and summate your GPA from those.

BTW I applied FALL 2021, I did not apply the same application cycle as you. Steve told me having 70 is a great chance for CEP so let's see!

Waiting to know if we got accepted is like waiting to know who our next president will be. Can we hurry this up?! ?? is anyone else reapplying for Fall 2021? Not sure if I should go for it.
