RCC Nursing Spring 2023 (ADN)

Published

Hello everyone,

If you are submitting an application July-August for RCC’s CEP or traditional ADN Spring 2023 & you have questions please feel free to ask away. Let’s help each other get through this application process & eventually through the entire program(:

Hi everyone! So I received an email from csusb about an information session, so CEP applicants check your emails! Also, should I start a CEP facebook group or discord? Or has anyone started one yet?

Hey guys when does school start for traditional ADN again?

Did anyone else get this message? don't even understand it though as I already recieved sometime in November an acceptance mail and then this mail came in December. What does it even mean?

Hello, yes I am in the advanced placement & thank you so much! I appreciate it. & I’m so sorry to hear that the AP is so rough don’t give up! If others don’t accept they email others they consider. I got an 83% on HESI. I applied with a total of 73pts.

Thats a great score! What did you use to Study for the HESI? Do you have any HESI tips? I feel like NRN 18 didn't prepare us the best for HESI, we used lipincot passpoint questions.

Thank you sm! ? Honestly, I rewatched a lot of simple nursing videos and took the quizzes right after watching them. I made sure to focus more on fundamentals too. I did use the Lippincott passpoint as well but I did quizzes on every topic (cardio, basic care, psychosocial, respiratory, etc) for about 3 1/2 weeks with about 30-45Q a day.

Hello, for CEP applicants has anyone received their coyote ID, or any additional information from CSUSB via email regarding their Cal-state application? Thanks in Advance!

Nothing on my end. I'm trying to send my picture for the badge but I need my coyote ID to do it and I haven't received it.

If you applied this past October, then you are applying for the Fall '23 semester; there is a separate forum for that cohort.

As for your question, it depends on what you would like to do. If you have your heart set on CEP, then wait until the next CEP application period opening in June '23.
