Updated:   Published

Hello everyone,

I am starting this to share information and keep in touch just incase some of us hear back sooner than others. This is for those who plan to submit an application to the ADN program for Spring 2022. Any questions feel free to ask and hopefully this is helpful(:

Oh really? Do you know how many are usually on the alternate list? The email didn’t say. But I got my email 6/14.

When you go on badge day or during bootcamp im sure you can ask your peers how many are on the alternate list. I don’t think the school shares how many people are on the alternate list.

Hey everyone.

Im applying for Spring 2023 ADN program.. What is the point cut off? Im honestly worried. I have no experience, but science GPA 4.0, general ED GPA 3.5, and TEAS score 92%.. I have 81 points...how high are my chances here? Everyone tells me, including the nursing specialist and nursing counselor told me 81  points is a good score. This is my dream school.. Has anyone with no experience, but scores like mine have a chance to get in?... if so, what's the high possibility getting in?..thank you...

I’ll say this I am 99% sure you are getting in. Your scores and grades are competitive.

I feel like you’ll get in for sure. I had similar stats as you but my TEAS was much lower. I believe I had 82 points.

May your words be heard! I wonder what's the cut off for the points.

I got in with high 76 or 78 points you have an amazing chance don’t sweat it(:

From what I've been told there is no set "cut-off" for points it all depends on the people applying with you. If other students applying have similar points as you, that will usually be the average. If there are others applying with lower scores then the average will be lower. You will be fine.

Thank you so much! I really needed the reassurance.

Hi everyone, I am a current applicant for Spring 2023, but I have also been accepted to another local CC for ADN and I'm really torn between the two. Wondering if anyone has any insight on how they are liking the program and if you feel supported by faculty and professors, what is the culture and support between peers like? RCC's cohort is about three times larger than another CC I may go to, both have great reputations and similar NCLEX rates. Any insight into the program is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.
