Hi, everyone!
Decided to create a forum for Riverside City College SON applicants for Fall 2020!
I submitted my application 2 weeks ago. Where are you all in terms of your application process?

For those in CEP, the CSUF class we’ll be taking is also available on our CSUF portal. Apparently that class is going to be held on Fridays at RCC, lecture and lab. Lecture will be held online, but I’m not sure how the lab portion of it will be ?
Thanks for sharing ? I’ll take a look

@kfran12 Under Registration, click on Search for Classes. Then you select Fall 2020 for Term, Riverside City College for Location, and NRN-Nursing for Subject. Once selected, click Submit. A list of nursing classes should appear. Look for NRN 11 and NRN 11A. There are 8 sections for NRN 11. The first 4 sections are for CEP, and the next 4 sections are for ADN. Hope this helps!

It worked! Thank you so much !
For those CEP students who are accepted into CSUF, we will be required to pay a $250 enrollment deposit fee. Just a heads up since we will be hearing from them soon. This website below also explains if you qualify for this fee to be “waived.”

@abcRN123 So I’m looking at the class schedule on CSUF Portal. I do see a Friday course but the the instruction mode is “in person”......Can you guide me to where you found CEPs lecture days and time.. lost ?

@Chanster The Friday CSUF class sections below are the only ones that fit into the RCC CEP schedule.?
Friday Lecture: NURS 340 section 27859 (8am-9:50am). The only section with 40 spots available for 40 CEP students. Location still says TBA, but CSU Chancellor announced that fall classes will be primarily held online. Under the NURS 340 class list, some sections say “WEB Fully Online Instruction,” so I’m assuming that will apply to our section too.
Friday Lab: NURS 340L section 27864 (10:30am-1pm) & section 27865 (1:30pm-4:30pm). Each lab has 20 spots available, so they will split CEP students into two classes for lab portion. Location says “Other Off Campus,” and will be “WEB Hybrid Instruction,” according to other sections of NURS 340L.
If we have to go to class on campus, then class will be held at RCC for the first 2 years, even for CSUF classes ? After we graduate from RCC, the remaining CSUF classes will be held at CSUF. Learned this during one of the nursing info sessions before Covid ?
