My point total depends on if they count all of my volunteer hours or not... I should be around mid-to-high 80s.

If I calculated my points right, then I believe I have 85 points. Not really sure though.

Your points for volunteering should count as long as they were "hands on" with patients and you have a letter from the facility proving that you've done over 200 hours. Jackie went over that with me because I have the points for that as well. There seems to be quite a few people with a lot of points in the 80s and 90s. I know of at least ten now including you guys. But there's 80 spots so I am hopeful! I'm in the 80s with my points as well.

Did Jackie tell you were she thought the points may be? She told me she didn't think it would be much different then before since not everyone has experience and or took those two classes

What's the cutoff been in the past? I just had some RCC students on my Med Surg rotation at they said they applied with around 80 points. Is that a pretty common number?

Yeah 80. last semester I think it was 85/80 but they said it was a very hard application period

Yea I heard last application period there were a lot of straight As as well as a lot of bachelor degree students so the cutoff was higher and the applicant pool was the most competitive they have had in a long time. I have 4 friends who got in last semester that had over 80 points and one friend who got in during the first week of class off of the alternate list with 77 points. I am hoping since we all seem to have in the 80s that we will all get in! Good luck to everyone and I can't wait to meet all of you in real life sometime soon. I only know of two people who applied that have over 90 points total. I am truly hoping 80s is the safe zone for us and we all get in.
