Just wondering if anyone applied for RCBC spring 2018. Hope those that read are accepted. The anticipation is outlandish. I'm waiting for my acceptance letter too! Trusting in God...

Hi everyone I had a question. I am not in the nursing program yet but hope to apply in a few days for the fall semester. So I haven't finished all my prerequisites yet. I mean I have done Eng 1, Eng 2, General Psychology, Intro to philosophy, Microbiology and Lab, A&P 1 and Lab, so as you see I still have a few courses and wanted to know can I still apply because she told me that only my fall courses would be counted for evaluation. So even if I do take more courses in the spring it won't be counted. What would you advice? Should I take my chances and apply or should I wait? Also wanted to know if I applied and didn't get in do I get waitlisted or do I have to reapply the next term? How much does it cost overall to apply? Thank you

Hi, it seems to me that whoever has the most prerequisites completed they take. I would try to get your prereqs completed as soon as you can. I could be wrong but I think you will have a better chance of getting in. If you get waitlisted some people get an email a few weeks after saying that they have been accepted in. It all depends how many students they have in the program. Some of the students who get accepted deny their acceptance because they might go to a different school etc. so they give their spot to the next person in line. I think it's free to apply to the program but the classes of course cost money. Good luck

Hi! I'm also extremely nervous. I finished all my pre-reqs. But 3 classes I took over bc when I was at a University, I left mid-semester, so I took either an I or an F. When I took those classes over, I got As. But I know they take away points if classes were taken again :/ I'm praying, but at the same time I know many students are more qualified.

I kind of wish they had the old system of TEAS or HESI again bc I feel like that would increase my chances.

I sent in my application for Fall 2018 last month. I know we get a response by April 14. So, the wait until then is soooo nerve-racking.

I spoke with someone in the nursing department, and they said we will get an e-mail by April 14! Eeeeekkk!!! My chances are low, but I'm praying hard. Good luck to everyone!
