I was thinking of relocating back to St.Louis. Am now in Washington State.Have 15 years of LTC experience, also skilled care. Am currently making 22.00 an hour. Was just wondering what's the rate of pay there for someone with my experience?

Specializes in Med/Surg <1; Epic Certified <1.

cindymlpn: I have no clue, but would suggest you call some of the major players in town: SSM healthcare; Barnes Jewish; St. John's (union hospital). I understand they're all pretty similar for new grads, but not sure about experienced employees.

If you're interested in LTC, you might try Del Mar Gardens for starters....I know there are other facilities in town, but that's a major one I'm familiar with off the top of my head. Here's a job link I found doing a quick Google search: Del Mar Gardens

Good luck!!

Specializes in NICU, High-Risk L&D, IBCLC.

I bet you could definitely get what you are making in Washington, if not more. Definitely contact the places in St. Louis that wdwpixie mentioned in her post....best to get the information directly from the source.

Welcome back! (Hoping it will be me coming back to St. Louis in 5 years ;) )
