Hi all, I applied for admission to Summer/Fall 2006 accelerated BSN programs. Does anybody know where I can find rankings of the nursing schools? I tried US News and World Report but it looks like you have to pay to see the complete listings.
Thanks!:)

Most state boards of nursing publish data regarding NCLEX pass rates by school. If you're looking to stay in Maryland, that info would be found at http://www.mbon.org/main.php?v=norm&p=0&c=education/nlcex_stats.html
That's just one factor that speaks to a school's quality though. Recently the deans of dozens of law schools endorsed a letter criticizing law school rankings in general and US News and World Report in particular. The point of the letter was this: there is no one single formula to determine whether one school is better than another and that such rankings always leave out or undervalue many factors.
I think the same holds true for nursing programs. While I might stay away from a school on probation, other than that I would go to the school that best suited my individual needs.
Thanks ... not really looking to stay in Maryland, but I will check out the other states' websites.
