Hello All!!!
I want to be in Cohort 13 at R.B National University. I must give ya'll some background, I had to work full-time during Cohort 12. The class that I withdrew from was not the 1st class (Assessments) but Fundamentals. I know that Fundamentals start in February, but on what day? Does anyone know? Thanks

hello
did you find it out? are you going?
:yeah:Thanks for responding!
I work full-time nights and Cohort 13 was a night, or evening cohort, I hope to enter #14, which starts in April. Since I passed Assessments, I would start in May.Are you in now?
I am waiting for my orientation paperwork for the cohort starting in April as well. I have been emailing a girl on here as well, and as far as I know she has not received her letter yet either! I was suppose to start in Oct but due to some family issues I delayed it. They said they can not guarantee we would go only days but I can't chance doing a night cohort with all my kids and my hubby going to Iraq!!!!
So you have taken the first class already? How was it? How did you find the uniforms fitting, I read another post about them not being true to size!
I hope to congratulate you soon. I hope that your family will be in good care in Iraq; news stations, like CNN, are not fair to the good people or safe areas there; G*D Bless.
Night cohorts are usually followed by the day cohorts. For example, April is day, August is night, November is day. I didn't want to stop attending class (I started with Cohort 12 in October 2007), but rent and my kids need for sneakers kind of changed my mind. Are you aware that books are not included with tuition;I am not sure of the policies of a military spouse or soldier. The first Asssessment class? Please pay attention to the syllabus (this is very important). It is the art of looking, listening, and observing a single patient; sort of like a physical exam, but throught all of the bodies systems (skin, heart, digestive, etc.) There are two papers, don't be alarmed though, if you have Ms.Kayla, she is the best; she will show you though everything. Good luck to you. Please let me know when you recieve that letter for Orientation.

Does anyone know how successful it is to change cohorts? I got accepted into the April 2009 one but I need a night one. Let me know. All the advisors are out of the office til January 5th and the questions are killing me!

It depends on the availability in the next cohort. If you submit your request early enough i'm sure they will accomodate you for the next evening class. Just make you have the required paperwork submitted and make an extra copy for yourself just in case they misplace it.

I believe the July 09 cohort is evening.
Hi, Im supposed to be starting the BSN program in July 09. I believe its supposed to be an evening one. I have so many questions! Now how does the evening work? Do you stay evening for the whole 2 years your in the program? Are classes from 5:30-10:00? 3 days a week? Are classes also given on saturdays? Now Clinicals..how does that work? As far as teachers, are they good? Do they help you in everyway they can for you to pass? What are the assignments like? Is it just papers? Midterms? Finals? Orals? Homework? Is it really possible to finsih a class in a month? I currently have a 2 month old who should be 7 months at the time so i be worried? What if you dont pass a class, what happens then? How do you like the program? Do teachers have websites? Please help! Thanks so much! If you can email me that would be better since im new to this allnurses.com. My email is [email protected]
