CSULB MSN 2012
Hi everyone! I also got accepted into CSULBs FNP program for Fall 2012. I wanted to know if you guys rec'd any other information in the mail. I talked to Alison, and she informed me that we should be receiving packets in the mail regarding the program this month. Also, how do you know which classes to sign up for? I am planning to attend school full-time, but wasn't sure if there was a certain curriculum we need to follow. Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Cedars-Sinai New Grad Program Summer 2010
I haven't found a place yet. I've been searching online for potential places but many of them are out of my price range. I'm going to LA next week to scope out the neighborhoods and what not.

NCLEX & Transcripts
I have done my training in CA. If I sit for my boards before they recieve my transcripts, would that effect my license? I just want to make sure that I will be considered a degreed RN when I take my test.

NCLEX & Transcripts
Hi everyone, I will be finished with my nursing program Nov 2009 and I am in the process of completing the paperwork to submit to the BRN in CA. My problem is that my degree won't be officially conferred and posted on my transcripts until Jan 2010. I wanted to know how long the BRN usually takes review the final application and send you the information that you will be able to test. Do they inform you via email or snail mail? Thanks for the help.

National University San Diego
NU organized the program in which the clinical courses (med-surg, peds, ob, leadership, etc) were offered the first 15 months then the remaining bsn classess, the last 8 months. Some people take the nclex early, since they would have completed the required courses in order to take the nclex, but they would be considered a non-grad. I think it would be too hard trying to study for the nclex while trying to take 1 month online classes. I think NU changed the program so its not an option to take the nclex early anymore. Good luck in nursing school!

Congratulations on your acceptance. Word of advice: Make copies of all your paperwork. Sometimes NU misplaces papers and stuff. It can hold you back from attending clinicals. Good luck with nursing school.

Rancho Bernardo National University Cohort 13 Out There???
It depends on the availability in the next cohort. If you submit your request early enough i'm sure they will accomodate you for the next evening class. Just make you have the required paperwork submitted and make an extra copy for yourself just in case they misplace it.

Nursing School stress
massages are awesome. i get one at least every other month. it helps out alot especially with back pain from standing for 12 hours shifts. watching a good movie, especially a comedy, is a great way to relieve stress.
