Raises at DFW area hospitals

Do nurses get annual raises at Dallas area hospitals ?

I plan starting my BSN degree next year and was just wondering what the annual raise, if any, is like for RN-BSN.

Any information is appreciated.

thank you !

Going from a two year RN to a BSN has very little raise in income associated with it. Some people see a few cents per hour, but that is it.

Generally speaking, yes, there are annual reviews and raises in the DFW hospitals. 3% on average, though recently this has been less due to the bad economy and the overabundance of nurses in the marketplace looking for work.

Cool, thank you for your input. I just got an email today at my company saying we would get raises again this year.

This is the 5th straight year we haven't had raises - company wide. Very frustrating when you get news like that.

I am in Fort Worth. My place of employment issues performance-based annual raises that range between 1 percent and 3 percent at the most. Most employees see an extra few cents per hour every year.
