Hello! With the Spring Cohort Application opened on Sept 18th, I wanted to start a topic here! For everyone to start off: share what units you are applying for! I will be doing the PICU & ED.
Best of luck to everyone!!

I have a small one in April. I was planning to wait for the New Graduate Residency Program Coordinator to reach out closer to the start because I think she will be the one organizing the schedule. I'm going to see what she shares and then email her and the unit manager. I think you can probably reach out whenever to your unit manager though, they all seem very kind!

I ended up contacting the hr person that offered me the position, and she said she would relay the information to my unit manager. Thank you for your advice!
Did anyone get a call last week about doing an interview panel for the New Grad program for Spring/Summer? I had an initial interview with all the managers from the different units and the head of the New Grad program to see if any of the units would be interested in moving forward with me.
Hey, I saw this and decided to comment since I had an interview for Radys today. I interviewed for the Main OR as an experienced nurse and everything went relatively good. I got my reference check not too long after the interview. I did have a question though. How long after the reference request did you guys get an offer letter?

Hi! It varies by unit a lot! I'm starting in the medical unit soon - I got my references a week after my interview and then it was like three weeks after that I got an offer! But I've heard them call for offers as soon as a week after people get their reference request. If I had to give a range: a week to three weeks after getting the references. It's not definitive but I hope that helps a little and I'm wishing you the best of luck!!

Thank you for your assistance, I got my offer this past Friday and I'm so happy. I'm supposed to be starting in April, I can't wait ?
