Hi! It varies by unit a lot! I'm starting in the medical unit soon - I got my references a week after my interview and then it was like three weeks after that I got an offer! But I've heard them call for offers as soon as a week after people get their reference request. If I had to give a range: a week to three weeks after getting the references. It's not definitive but I hope that helps a little and I'm wishing you the best of luck!!

I have a small one in April. I was planning to wait for the New Graduate Residency Program Coordinator to reach out closer to the start because I think she will be the one organizing the schedule. I'm going to see what she shares and then email her and the unit manager. I think you can probably reach out whenever to your unit manager though, they all seem very kind!

I got an offer this afternoon - it was a phone call! ?

The first time I did not interview due to personal reasons (I chose to wait for the next cohort). The second time I interviewed for CTICU and I did not receive an invitation to give my references. In that case, I reached out about two weeks after my interview and found out I wasn't selected. This time I got interviewed by Medical last week and just got my references email last night.

For mine they contacted by phone. I just got my references request (I interviewed last Thursday), so sometimes it's just delayed. This is my third cycle of applying - they will send an email at the end saying thank you for applying and to try again. Typically the units themselves unfortunately don't notify you if you weren't selected. You can ask by email and they are pretty responsive. I really wish they'd be more clear on where they are at in the process!

I believe the MBU is both as one but I'm not 100% sure! As for more than one interview it's possible but unlikely. They go in order of how you ranked. Usually by the time they decide and let you know, the other units have also already decided. You can certainly try to ask to have your application be passed on if by chance the first unit you interview for doesn't say yes! I got a call to interview for medical ?
