I am creating a topic for applicants of Rady's Spring 2023 New Grad Program.

Has anyone heard back yet? Best of luck!

@usernamewhat I had an inperson and virtual but they asked like why rady's or why this unit and then like strength and weakness and my clinical/peds experience. then some were like a dissatisfied patient or family. I feel they were typical interview questions just include your experience!

Hi friends! So I think I may have self-sabotaged my chances of getting an interview. I noticed that most of you had specified units in your cover letter. In my cover letter I didn't specify any particular unit, but instead said I'm open to all units participating in the New Grad program. I thought that would increase my chances of getting an interview at RCH but I have yet to hear anything. What units have sent out interview invites and what units are we still waiting to hear from? Thanks and best of luck! ?

@sunfish hi! So I actually did the same and stated that I was open to all units! It took some time to hear anything but ended up getting a call to schedule an interview with the medical unit. So I don't think you self-sabotaged!

I heard back and had interviews with NICU and CTICU this week. Most were typical behavioral questions I did get asked a clinical situation question but it wasn't too specialty-related. I believe they are both still conducting interviews at least for this week, so don't lose hope! Hope you all will hear back soon and good luck with interviews!
