Hi everyone! Just wanted to make a thread for those applying to the Rady Children's Hospital New Grad RN Summer 2025 Cohort!

I was not able to attend the information session, does anyone know which units are hiring?

I had the introductory interview on zoom then an in person interview with the manager/supervisor a few weeks ago. They said there would be another round of interviews and they would reach out this week for the third round, but haven't heard anything yet.

I haven't heard anything either:/. No news is good news. How did your interview go? I felt strange like my answers were repeated the second round LOL.

I had an interview today, but I didn't know anything about a second or third interview. They did say we would be hearing back from them in about a week. I probably bombed that interview so bad 🤣😭🤣😭

I think the 1st zoom was for externships or employees. Im guessing having your first interview being in person is a great thing for you. I feel like I bombed mine too LOL. I'm surprised their still doing interviews. Must be soo many nurses  theyre interested  in. Goodluck!:)

Oh my interview was also zoom. I'm an external candidate, and it's for CAPS, so maybe it's different 🤷🏿‍♂️

Does every interviewee at Rady suppose to get the email for reference check and skills survey? I never received one 😩 but I was told by next week we should hear back with a decision

Okay that makes me feel better I sent in my references but I expected to hear Friday so I was a bit thrown off. Thank you!!

Honestly, I'm not sure. I wasn't expecting the reference check bc they never mentioned it, but I got it in my email. Each unit could have different hiring procedures so I'm not too sure.

yea bc it took almost the whole week to get all of my references, their updated information, and to get them to complete the form, so I felt like the timeline would be too rushed. Either way, we should probably hear back soon!
