CT scans- and subq seroma

  1. Does anyone know if a CT scan can detect a large seroma that is located between subq layer and hernia mesh?? Previously seroma has been located with U/S- I am just curious if CT would show up since it is not internally located.

I would think so, Dutch, as it's still sub-q somewhere. And, if it is indeed "large," that would help it be spotted as well.

YES! a CAT scan will show a seroma.
I am currently dealing with one now, and that is what they used to diagnose mine.
