Certified Radiology Nurse

Hello! I'm a nurse working for almost 4 years now and I want to pursue my career in clinical imaging as a certified radiology nurse. I am a registered nurse in the Philippines and also in Texas US. I'm currently working now here in middle east. Can someone please tell me how will I be certified?, do I still need to take an exam? and how?. thank you.

You must have 2000 recent hours of employ as a Radiology Nurse before being able to sit for the certification exam.

I am not sure if that is in the US or if your current position would qualify.

You would have to contact the exam board (the first link above) and ask.

Hello fellow colleagues, Greetings! I'm new here in this website and I just want to ask if there's anyone of you out there who already took the exam in radiology nurse certification exam and already certified, can you please help me what review material is best for studying in preparation for my october 2017 exam.? I'm a registered nurse in the Philippines and also in the state of Texas,USA. I'm currently working here in Doha Qatar as a staff nurse in radiology department. I'm also a member of ARIN and I'm planning to take the exam in Washington USA october next year. Thank you.. =)
