Rachell Allen Review Center: Is This A Reputable Nursing Review Center?

Hello! Anyone here who has reviewed NCLEX at Rachell Allen Review Center? Is it really as good as it claims? Which is better Rachell Allen or Kaplan? Hope to get responses from you. Thank you, Nurses!

what was allgen like, is it similar to rachell allen r.c., do they also offer the same amenities as rachell allen r.c.? just to warn you the some of the reviewers from allgen are also past lecturers from rachell allen and as far as i am concern they have ineffective lecturers. and they are both expensive from what my friend told me, i think suzanne4 tips are way better from any nclex review centers.

I've also heard very good things about Suzanne's tips but some people really need the structure of a classroom setting and find it difficult to keep themselves on task.

RA has good points because it was established by a Filipina who worked in the USA for many years. In fact, she still lives and practices in the USA.

Allgen is also very strong with the curriculum and the facility is very well designed for relaxation in the learning environment. The lecturers may be former RA instructors, I have no information on that regard; but I guess we'll see results from them as they grow to prove whether or not they are an improvement or a disappointment.

i was a student of their 21 days nclex review so i know what i am saying, and i second the motion the ra in kalaw is small and their employees are not accomodating.i am surprised why did they sued ra and is it not enough they already took ra nclex program which they take from the ra 21 days nclex review which they changed to 17 days, i really regretted on reviewing at ra because primarily they tried to finished in a fast pace the review to 21 days which is hard because they sometimes try to finished the lecture even if the students do not get what they are saying.i really did not like it personally so i am just trying to share my experience on what had happened on my review and what my fellow reviewers had experienced.could anyone explain why they are suing ra?thanks

i have been on the taft branch also and it is rather gloomy and small and the previous commment on their staff being unaccomodating is right they should work on their personality, i have first hand experience w/ RA so i basically know what i am talking about and this also what my co reviewers experienced from our review.so again i regret to inform you that if you like a classroom setting go to a review that is not trying to spoonfed information in just 21 days, they try to finish their lectures even if students did not get what they are saying.now i do not know how different a 17 days lecture from a 21 days lecture but i think they both do not give students enough time to learn before jumping to another topic. could you please explain why they are suing RA for? thanks

That's a good point. Ultimately I look at the overall pass rate of the center to determine who is giving good lessons and providing decent information. But one thing that should be taken into consideration is the amount of live lecture time given by those who have actually worked in the USA. Computer assisted education can help you pass the test but may leave a lot of gaps in knowledge once you get a job in the USA.

Also, I don't think it is a good idea to talk about possible lawsuits and name the companies unless there is a 100% verified source. We don't want to be badmouthing a school based on some business deal gone wrong that may or may not have anything to do with the way they work with students.

i just enrolled to Rachell Allen reviewers Ortigas the other day.. i hope i could still enjoy and learn a lot despite the bad things ive read here.. :( btw, their review is 25 days, that costs 24k..

hi princess! does RA still offer the unlimited-review-till-you-pass-nclex? when is your review sked? TIA

Confirmed that Rachell Allen is still offering the unlimited review until you pass concept.

I don't understand why people are upset with the 25 day lecture course.. I mean you get to repeat the lectures as many times as you want so if you miss something, just redo the lecture.

Also, I like this diagnostic exam concept that they have. Not many review centers have a quality diagnostic. This one appears to be very sound.

Allgen and Universal Worker also offer the unlimited review-until-you-pass concept.

baldoRN.. yes its still available.. i will start there on May 11 til June 15.. I really hope i will have a good time there. but really, i think it really depends on the student's interest or dedication to study. they say that they would give us everything we need to pass, and it would really depend on us if we would do our part too. :) i think this applies to each and every review center out there!

thanks guys! i'm planning on starting my review there this june. pls continue sharing your feedbacks.
