Hi I'm a 2nd NCLEX-RN taker, my 1st exam was last May 17 with 75 & my mom with 229- & I did the pvt right after the maintenance & we both got the CC page. I was so challenged that I pushed myself to keep taking on more questions: from Kaplan's Online Program (my mom enrolled & we shared the content & all question trainers & Q banks but took them at different times) La Charity's PDAKaplan's premier reviewer 2014-2015 Rea's Interactive FlashcardsAll of which I got average 65-75%.Then I retook the nclex again last July 19 at 2pm (my mom failed twice already & the Vermont BON required a certification of her review center completion before a 3rd attempt) but I got there at 1 pm & they let me take it early. I had about 18 SATAs (came at me consecutively on the 1st 10 numbers by 3s, 5s), 7 Drag & Drops, 1 table exhibit SATA, 1 picture SATA. It shut off at 75 again but when I checked pvt it gave me the "ON HOLD" pop-up instead. It has been more than 48 hrs & my quick results aren't available yet. I called the new mexico BON but no one picked up. I checked my name on the NM BON but I didn't see my name.I just really need any insights regarding this, thank you!
Nurse2beMN 1 Article; 127 Posts Jul 22, 2014 I also got the 'on hold' popup last week after 75 questions and it drove me absolutely nuts. I recommend calling Pearson Vue and inquiring about the hold. It can be put in place for many different reasons; palm scanner problems, taking the test too fast, etc. I called them a few different times before the 48 hours and they wouldn't give me a reason for the hold. Exactly 50 hours after my exam, I logged into Pearson Vue and noticed that my quick results were available. Before I paid for the quick results I tried the trick and it gave me the good popup. I then paid and found out I passed. Try giving them a jingle-if anything, maybe it will push them along! Good luck to you! Sending positive vibes your way!
Tanz 30 Posts Jul 22, 2014 I think it was the palm scanner coz the TA made me do it over & over til the system recognized it. Is the pearsonvue customer service available for 24H? I think it's too late to call now if it's not. & I rechecked my pvt it was the same hold on pop-up. Thank you so much for the good vibes, I really need it. Although I know I did my best, I still can't help but feel stressed over it. Good luck on your endeavors!

Tanz 30 Posts Jul 22, 2014 Thanks! I'll ring em up first thing tomorrow if I still don't get my quick results tonight. I just find comfort in the fact that I haven't been directed to the CC page yet.

Although, I know first-hand how tough that can be when you get the 'on hold' popup. I swear I was on the Pearson Vue website every 10 minutes-I even woke up in the middle of the night and checked LOL

I checked about 3x an hour or so & I didn't get to sleep well at all. Thank you so much for the encouragement, I think I'll sleep better tonight.
