When you enroll, you can choose between the Excelsior Course Option and the Multi Source option. Basically if you take 12 semester hours or more in Excelsior courses, you get what seems like a very steep discount on your enrollment fee ($395 total for enrollment). What they don't mention is that Ec courses cost about a grand each, so your "discount" goes out the window and you will end up paying more for your degree in most cases.
Multisource option is just what it sounds like: you will be completing your educational requirements through various sources such as previously earned college credits, CLEP, ACE, etc. The enrollment fee for it is $1,015, but it will still be the cheaper option for most students.

Multisource isn't an option for AS/AAS students.
Really? I enrolled under multisource but that was before all of the changes last October. Actually, I enrolled through the Excelsior Course option but had to switch to the multisource option because I didn't lack 12 hours or more for my prereqs and therefore didn't qualify for the EC option.
