Does anyone know of a "Intro to Nursing" class that can be taken online without pursuing a degree from the online school? I had also read somewhere that it can be clepped, but the CLEP site doesn't list Intro to Nursing. Any help? I'd like to take it over the summer.

I think if you are willing to pay the outrageous per course fee of a private university it can be done. You don't have to be in the program to take single courses at many schools. Just check them out.
Are you talking about basic Intro or the BSN level Intro to professional nursing?
I'm talking about the BSN level "Intro". I'll see if I can do late registration and get in for the summer. If not, I am thinking of calling them and see if I can take credit by exam.

There is no CLEP for Intro to Nursing. Excelsior College offers a 200 level, 8 credit Fundamentals of Nursing. From what I can tell, it looks like an Accelerated Nursing transitional course. Is this what you need? Here is a link, if that helps:
