No raises in 2012 due to Medicare and insurance cut-backs... across the board.
No job cuts however.

My sister investigates Medicare fraud in New York. There's no shortage of work in her office.
You're welcome! ;>)

Not only no raises, but my prior employer was cutting wages. Actually REDUCING the amount of pay for more work as the charting requirements for Medicare get more cumbersome, they expect the nurses to "make the time" and take less pay. Guess who suffers? The nurse and the patient.

Here another one for you that's sure to burn a hole in your head and mak you forget the other song...A little "Safety Dance" just for you.
We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and
if they don't dance then they're no friends of mine

Tee-hee!
But yup.
We all need to ponder well if doing the dance now will really be in our best interests in the longer term (e.g., maybe a year down "the long and winding road").
Consider how much we like our jobs, peers, sups, location, commute, bennies, learning opportunities, growth potential, job diversification, etc.
