I've just completed the impossible. A&P1 in a 5 week summer semester. I didn't think I'd make it but I did. Problem is... I managed to get a "C", which is good enough to get into the schools that I'm interested in but surely not competative enough.
The second issue is... I'm already enrolled in A&P2 for this fall. Can I still take A&P2 this fall and retake A&P1 next year? Does it make sense to retake the class? Or should I keep the "C" and concentrate on getting an "A" in A&P2 this fall?
I've been out of school for a loooong time and everything is like new to me. I still can't believe I pulled off the "C" in such an intense class. I just went fot it, but I'm not satisfied with my grade.
Well actually the GPA is not the main factor. It's the Teas. Your GPA has to be the minimum of 2. something, I forget. What determines your fate so to speak is your Teas score.
Good, no need to retake A&P 1 ... now just focus on A&P 2 and the TEAS (shoot for 85% or above). By the way, I thought A&P 2 was easier than 1 (many others think so too) if that makes you feel any better.
i just did same thing ,except mine was 4 weeks ..crazy final grades not up till wednesday but looking like C+, i also am already signed up for 2 in the fall and i dont really want to waste time taking again either. think just going to apply and hope fori best all my other grades are good .i did hear an instructor say she thought they did consider the fact it was a summer session and that it bumped it a little but not sure its true.
