hi fellow nurses. i applied in qmmc in project 4, qc for the nurse trainee position. i was scheduled for the exam on april 13, 2010. i just want to ask you guys who have taken the exams before in qmmc on what i should be reviewing? do you have any tips on what i should read or review?! please, any help/tips would be appreciated. thanks and God bless you all.

@sup advil-how did they tell you about it..i mean is it after the exam they will tell you the date of orientation right away?

@felicitypaul - thanks.. the exam is for pre-evaluation purpose only.. so don't pressure yourself reviewing..if u failed it, so what?! you would still be accommodated and trained by the institution.. lenient, isn't it? I think, what advice I can give you is.... Make friends as many as you can on july 6...

@newmeeh23 - yes.... the batch who took the exam on the 25th of may waited for 2 weeks (see previous conversations/pages) before they were informed about their schedule.. hope it won't happen to your batch.. see you soon....

I took the exam today at 8am. The exam is basic but includes 10 items of essay. I cannot really determine whether the exam is only for formality's sake or not because they told us to comeback on July 26 to see if we passed the exam so I concluded that maybe they're really screening applicants now..well, let's just hope for the best, good luck colleagues.

guess what.. in just a matter of 2 weeks, qmmc increased payment for the exam... from P50, it is now P100.... also, they are no longer entertaining applicants for the PNTP.. hope it resumes soon.. oh... people who took the exam this day said that it is no more a "pre-evaluation exam".. It is now a QUALIFYING EXAM.. :monkeydance:
