quinsigamond community college; how does the program run?

Published

Hi. I'm on the waitlist for the nurse education evening program. However i can't get a straight answer from anyone at the college on how many days are clinical. I know one night is class and from my impression, maybe 2-3 days of 10 hour clinical. I was also informed that you don't know if you have day or evening clinical till that semester? My tentative start date is Fall 2017. By then I will have a 1 year old and 3 year old that I will need to find child care for. However it seems that is impossible to be plan ahead of time in this program. Is anyone in this program or went through the program who can give me an idea of time commitment. Thanks for reading and hopefully responding!

Hi guys :) I applied for the Day Nursing program at QCC in May and got accepted for Fall 2019. That is literally over 2 years away and after next spring semester I only have to take one more pre req. Do you knoow if you can get a spot sooner if you are done with all your pre reqs? It's crayz how long the wait list is..

Hi Giannaeve! I was also put on the list for Fall 2019. The wait definitely sucks... I've been working on the QCC/WSU rn-bsn classes as well to pass the time :-)

Hello Cassaramarie031! I just applied to the Nursing Day program...hoping to get on the waitlist for Fall 2019...however I've been told spots often open up earlier than what you're waitlisted for.

Hey cherimcd91! Any updates on your end or still waiting?

How is the program going for you and can you tell me how quick you got in?

Hi everyone! Just checking in to see if anyone has started the program? I was just added to the Advanced Placement wait list (LPN-RN)

I just graduated with my LPN this past June. Would like to hear about the Advanced Placement schedule :)

Hi there, are you in the program?
