Good Vibes! =)

hi pinay_nars ! do you know exactly when will they start to accept applicants on May ?? TIA

hi sherwinRN! I'm not really sure, I just read it from a post by yellow fairy on Dec 27,2010: "if im not mistaken the next schedule that qcghs will be taking in the required papers for their nursing volunteer program would be on may 2011.

not sure of the exact date though.

better check at the nursing dept. it is posted at the office's door."

I still have to complete my seminars, especially the IVT and BLS to be competent, and I hope I still have time for that before the submission of requirements..

I see.. Maybe I'll just go there and check it personally, anyway thanks pinay_nars ! Hope you can finish your seminars in less time possible. If you (also for the other nurses who will read this post) still don't have an IVT you guys can check the Martinez Memorial Hospital if your around caloocan city or nearby cities. And you may try Phil. Nat'l. Red Cross for your BLS. GBU !

hello SherwinRN, can you update us if by chance, you've visited QCGH. Thanks and GodBless!

hi fellow nurses, im presently training in qcgh hospital. during our orientation, there was an announcement made by the hospital director that our batch might be the last batch of trainees they'd be accepting..this is because of the current issues being raised in the senate re: nurses undergoing volunteer training in hospitals without pay or even allowances. anyway, to confirm this info, better contact the qcgh training office or might as well visit and personally ask if there will be more trainings to come, after our batch.

so far, my training experience in this hospital is smoothly sailing. skillswise im happy to say that im learning. im on my 9th week already, our training will run till july 31. i hope and pray that i would be able to learn more, acquire more skills and soon... be a more confident and competent nurse..

god bless..

Hi from what I know they will still accept trainees by april.. how long is the training at qcgh? 6 or 4 months? Thanks!

no more nurse trainees by july... The Hosp Director already signed;maybe next yr if the issue subsides... Aside from 6months training, there is Elective training in special areas for 3months, i think it will stay but its for previous trainess only.

I hope they will open for application this May.

oh no ! tsk tsk.. well i hope we can find another hospital who'll accept applicants this coming month.. are there any hospital left that will still accept nurse volunteer ?
