I took NCLEX-PN this morning......85 questions in less than an hour....I scheduled it this past Friday, then worked all weekend, and took it early in the morning so that there would not be too much downtime to drive myself nuts.....i felt good about the computer shutting down at 85 (only because by question 75 i felt like i had been beaten up, and just wanted to throw in the towel.....had 20 SATA questions, more than a few of which being on infection-control precautions)....All i can say is that i did accomplish my goal of not allowing myself to freak out too much....i was very matter-of-fact about the check-in process at the testing facility, and just answered the best i could and i suppose in doing so for 85 questions, a little under an hour is probably an average time....and again, felt like i was beaten to a pulp!! Now the waiting game has begun, and will know, for better or worse, on Wednesday.

]I feel for you. The worst part is the waiting afterwards. On the bright side, you are really smart and successfully graduated from a nursing school ( no easy feat there ). Be proud no matter what. :loveya: But if I were gambling, I'd place my bets that you passed.:redpinkhe I also had too many SATAs on my NCLEX. I really was not counting but I paid a little more attn. to how many multiple choice and it was about 15 ( give or take ) ? Anyways, I was dwelling on it and it drove me and my husband nuts. Good Luck JoanieDee.

joaniedee,
ohhhhhh, i am sure you did great!!! you were thinking positive and didn't freak out like you said, so that is always a positive for your mindset. like melinurse said, the waiting game is the tough part!!!! does your state participate in quick results???? if so, i will be waiting for you to post that you passed on wednesday!!!
