hi all

i have some questions for you

i'm going to start my first travel assignment and was wondering if anyone has ever used TRUSTAFF and has worked or heard about the emergency room at the JENNI STEWART hospital in HOPKINSVILLE KENTUCKY

and with all the numbers they throw at you about money-basically housing travel et all is taken out of your pay-is that correct?

thanks-beaujacques

thanks beaujacques

wow-thanks so much for the info and sorry about your troubles--good luck!!!-beaujacques

thanks-and which company did yougo with?-{i'm an er rn}

It sounds like they are quoting you about $36/HR total... What are the local ER RNs making?

If you can get through the malarky and confusing contract the perdiem sounds GREAT! I know nothing about how these people operate but $22/HR non-taxed= $3500/month. (If you can find yourself some cheap housing you should make some pretty good $$.)

You need to RUN from that job. If the hourly rate is $36.00 an hour, thats not great for an ER nurse. I used to make $35 as a M/S travel, not including housing, bonuses, etc.

Also, anything more than 50 miles I believe it is, is considered travel and you are entitled to the housing or tax free stipend. Sounds like they are working it as more of a per-diem agency position, not an actual travel contract.

Did I read that correctly? They want to pay you 13.25 per hour????? My travel contract was in 2000-- they started me at $30.00/hr. That was my base pay..then I had differentials for nights etc.. they paid for my health insurance from day 1..and I got $1,200 monthly for housing. That was for my first contract. It went up from there. They paid me $3,000 for my first resign bonus. and again, that was 11 years ago...RUN, RUN away from this company...I was in PICU at a large teaching hospital. I was there for 2 years almost as a traveler...then they wanted to hire me full time..it would have been a cut in pay! (I had to move anyway)
