I took the Kaplan Complete which includes the classroom, Q-bank and Q-trainers as well as the review of content. I began taking the Q-bank questions and got horrible scores. I started watching the review of content videos and my Q-bank scores began to get better. I watched every review of content video as well as all the testing strategy videos. I reviewed the book while watching the content video. I did every single Q- bank question and did all but 1 Question trainer (I skipped #2). After doing all the Q-banks, I started doing over the questions that I missed. I took the last 3 Q-trainers the way kaplan recommends and 5 days before the test, i stopped studying. I went to the movies, read and did anything to get out of the house. I took my test on 3/12/07. I was there for less than an hour. The questions were really hard. Decision tree from Kaplan helped for some questions but i found that you must know the content or you will not be successful. I was a C student and I passed with 75 questions. I highly recommend Kaplan.
carmey830 - Hello! i took the boards for the first time on Thursday the 17th of July. I think I bombed the boards (I think I failed them). I was thinking about doing Kaplan. I am pretty sure that I know the material but its those NCLEX type questions that get me all anxious during testing. What materials from Kaplan should I take? I plan to retest in 45 days because a job is waiting for me!
Thanks, maverickemt!

The wait is horrible. I pray that you passed. Try to stay busy - it helps.
