I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!
Hello all! I am currently a VA RN but am moving to texas with military spouse (am originally from San Antonio) and have applied. Talked with recruiter today after she called to notify me of status of waiting for approval then got an email from NiGia Brown with details of what is to come during this application and evaluation process. Just wanted to join this thread and say hello! Nice that we can have some peer support during this anxiety filled process :)
Hello everyone! I've been following this thread and I too have so many questions. I attended the open house in July, and although the directors were pretty thorough and informative, this waiting game is agonizing! I check every day, nearly every other hour. So far, all I know is my application has been routed. The Seton Select representative mentioned they would take a while to start interviewing, but since I haven't heard word yet, I don't know if that means I just haven't been chosen or really, I should just keep waiting. Good luck to all who have applied. These next couple of weeks will be challenging. .

I also applied for the Seton Select Program and they told that they gonna start calling to schedule an interview 2-3 weeks from the July 19 Open House so you have to wait till like August 8 onward. I know it can be stressful but you have to calm down and it may take awhile for them to review like a hundred of us applicants who're applying for this 6 slots available. Our application has already been routed & approved, so far so good and all we have to do is wait till 2nd-3rd week of August. Goodluck buddy!

I got the same email yesterday too. Now it seems like it is just going to be a BIG waiting game...LOL. Good luck to all
same curiosity...mine was routed to five hospitals...now hoping for some interviews! I will be in Austin/San Antonio area until the 16th so hope I can get at least one before then...kinda doubtful the timing will work out this way. has anyone had an interview yet??

Sounds like the story of my life...lol. I was hoping to get an interview next week since that's what their timeline states. One of the recruiters I talked to said that some floors already started interviewing the day after open house. I have to say they respond really well...at least compared to the hospitals here...
