Questions regarding Nursing in College!!!!!?

i want to go to Cedarville university and enroll in their Nursing program. there requirement though is a 24 on the ACT. i got a 22 on the act. (26math/24science/20english/19reading). i emailed a admissions counsler and she said that there is a prenursing program i could get accepted into easily. looking through the website i find no prenursing program though. What do you think?

Hi!!!! im interested in applying to the Georgia State University ACE nursing program in the fall and i was wondering if anybody knows what is the average GPA accepted

They probably mean that you are accepted to the school its self as a pre-nursing student and take classes but not the actual program. Pre-nursing meaning taking classes towards what is required for the program. I would talk to them so that you understand what is going on. Hope this helps!

What she meant is that you take prenursing classes that will enable you to get accepted into nursing school. Pre nursing really isn't a program, it's a major. You take pre reqs to get accepted into the program. Not only do you take the classes but you have to ACE them! Strive to make all A's because as I'm sure you know, nursing school is very competitive. You need to find out the other requirements for nursing school other than the required ACT. What is the minimum GPA, do you have to write an essay, do they look at community service or volunteer work? Make sure you find out!! Also find the course that you need to take that are required for your pre nursing major. For instance, at my school 5 sciences are required: General Biology, General Chemistry, A&P 1, A&P 2, and Microbiology. Be Blessed!
