Questions regarding National University

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hi everyone,

I am currently enrolled at National University and will be completing my pre-requisites for the BSN program. Then once all is completed I will be applying into the Nursing Program. I had a few questions regarding the University. I was wondering what is the difficulty level of the courses. I know they are 1-2 month long classes meaning they are fast paced. I also work fulltime, working 3 12 hour shifts a week. Any input of anyones experiences at the university would help.

Thanks!:D

Hi- I'd recommend checking out the thread on National (https://allnurses.com/ca-nursing-programs/national-university-san-219120-page141.html). It's super long, but has gone on for a couple years. If you check out the last few pages, you'll get some good info that should answer some of your questions. I'm getting ready to start the program, so I can't tell you first hand about the work load, but I can say that everything I've heard indicates that it takes serious focus to get all the work done. Also- in my nursing forum, they told us that every person who has failed out of the program has been attempting to work full time. Don't be discouraged- I'm sure the right person could do it, but it is very time consuming. Hope this helps!
