I took the NCLEX today and I was hoping that I would not be in there all day. I selected the answer for #75 and clicked next. Then another question popped up. Well I figured I'd keep chipping away. Imagine my surprise when the doggone thing shut off after #76. I am really not sure if I got the last question correct.
Everyone says the number of questions does not matter. However, I can't help but wonder in this case. If I was at passing level wouldn't it have shut off at #75? Why give one more question to torture and mess with my mind? In this case wouldn't it make sense to assume that the last question determines pass or fail?
I am trying so hard to stay calm. So many people were praying for me today. I don't know how I would show my face if I don't pass.
Did anyone else get 76 questions? Do you feel you got the last question wrong and still passed? I'm sitting on pins and needles until I check the results tomorrow.
76 questions, well that's a number I haven't heard of before :) It may have been a glitch or something, don't worry, it's not an indicator that you did not pass!
