i'm taking the nclex pn for the second time next week. i'm scared i will not be successful. One of my problems in the last test was the way to answer a question for example What would you follow up on??? Do I answer that by making sure u follow up on a positive thing or would I select an answer that u would not do. I'm so confused:idea: How would I go about answering those types of questions.

Usually those types of questions are priority type questions. When a question asks you to follow up on something..that usually means something's going wrong, so you have to follow up and intervene. Hope this makes sense. :)

When I took my NCLEX-PN nearly a month ago, I got lot of priority questions and select all the apply types. No computation or even lab works.
So just prepare for these types of questions.

I answered those questions by finding the most unstable client or a negative thing.

i'm confused too....my first instinct is you looking for a negative one which u need to intervene but i think its the other way around meaning u need to choose something that will support the topic...if anybody encounter that please let me know which is the right thing to do to answer that type of questions..i wanna passed my test the second time...thanks...

Hope the OP was successful passing NCLEX and is now busy working as a nurse.
