265 Questions--Last Question

Is it true that if the last question is above passing standard for 265 questions means you passed? I ended my test on a SATA question and am praying that I passed.

No, this is a myth. Getting the last question right or wrong does not determine if you have passed or failed.

Have you tried the PVT? Best wishes.

The specific rule that determines whether you've passed or failed basically states that if the question asked is above passing standard, you pass. If it's at or below passing standard, you fail. When that rule is invoked, it's the only time that your results are based on a single question. Every other time it's based on your previous 60 questions. It's all on the appropriate NCLEX information page published by the NCSBN. SATA's are usually above passing, but they're not always above passing, so don't rely on that for whether you passed or not.

Do the PVT and then wait about 24 hours or so and then do it again. If you get the good popup both times, there's almost no chance that you've failed. Remember, the exam is scored twice and the 2nd scoring is the definitive (and final) scoring and that can take a day or so for your exam to be scored that 2nd time.

Good luck!

The second to last was a drag and drop so I feel like most of the questions towards the end were passing level. Fingers crossed!
