OK. I have a question about all the shots and titers and such that I need for the LVN program. I currently work in a hospital. I have already had the TB skin test, and the Hep B series ( 2 out of the 3 shots required). On my health form that I have to turn in, it lists Tetorifice-Diptheria, MMR, and Hep B titer. Do I do the titer now, or after the third shot? Also, the tetorifice and MMR, I know I had as a child, but nothing at all within the last ten years, so do I automatically get a booster for those? and not that it matters, but how bad do they hurt LOL? Really really sore, or just a little sore?
thanks for the advice! I ended up going to the health dept today, and got the Tetorifice shot, and had titers drawn for the MMR. Man does the tetorifice shot hurt now though lol! My hospital does give the HEP series, which I took for free, but they didnt do the others. I only paid 47.00 for the titers and the shot together, which I didnt think was a bad price!
